By Road
Road is one of the best and direct connectivity to Rishikesh. Several tour operators operate daily bus service from New Delhi to Rishikesh and provides options like air-conditioned, sleeper and Volvo buses. Boarding an overnight bus is the most convenient way to head to Rishikesh, although some buses operate during the daytime as well.
By Train
The nearest railway station is located at Haridwar with a distance of 25 kilometres. Haridwar railway station has good connectivity with Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata. Popular trains that run from Haridwar station are Shatabdi Express, Jan Shatabdi Sampark, AC Special Express and Mussoorie Express.
By Air
Jolly Grant airport is the nearest airport, which lies at a distance of 35 to 45 kilometres from Rishikesh. Most of the air traffic to Rishikesh airport includes private chartered flights.
